Welcome to our Photography Journal

We are Garrett Burdick and Matt Reoch. We met 8 years ago knowing that we were both passionate about photography. What we didn't know was how much fun we would have working together. After a few years of collaborating on other projects and seeing that we laughed as much as worked together, we decided to join forces to create GB Photographers. That was back in 2004 and over the past four years we've photographed intimate weddings with 20 guests to extravagant multi-day destination weddings with a guest list in the hundreds.

What we love most is how every event is new and exciting. Photographing two people in love and capturing the details both small and large is an honor. We love telling the story, from getting ready to the friends and family who haven't seen each other in a long time or are just meeting for the first time. From that first kiss as husband and wife to dancing the night away in celebration of that moment.

We love getting to know our couples, laughing, sharing stories, becoming friends and celebrating one of the most important days of their lives.

Pebble Beach Engagement

What a great time we had photographing Kimberly and Danny in Pebble Beach. We started the day photographing them at their family home where they will be married in September. We toured 17 mile Drive stopping at beautiful spots along the way. We ended at their favorite beach in Carmel sipping wine and enjoying the sunset. We really enjoyed getting to know them and can’t wait to capture the wedding day in a few months!

I just helped a friend shoot a wedding... Good Grief! It was STRESSFUL! I don't know how you wedding people do it! If you and Matt ever need someone to carry your gear I'm there! I'd love to see how the pros do it!

June 13, 2008 - 11:43 am zip - Hey Garrett, I LOVE this engagement shoot! Great Work! I am now getting settled in Fairfield, CA. ALmost all the boxes are opened. I saw that Tanya can't put the camera down these days. That is Awesome!

June 22, 2008 - 9:47 pm Carrie Hasson - Wow, are all the people you shoot beautiful?! Gorgeous couple, they look like a lot of fun to shoot. I love all the locations and outfit changes, was this all done in one day? I really love the shot where they're leaning on the post and the arrow is pointing in the direction they're leaning, that looks super cool. Also love in the beach shot how she is standing on her tippy toes leaning in for a kiss. And the crane spot, what a find. I really love the variety, they must have been really pleased!
