We do love themed weddings, especially when it involves a little style. Laura and I had the privilege of photographing our good friends themed wedding near Mount Shasta, California. We spent the entire weekend with friends and family roasting marshmallows over the campfire and sleeping in cabins at a beautiful property called Pinegri-La. Denise and Dustin wanted to have a ‘Steampunk’ theme attached to their wedding and some of the guests went along for the ride. Steampunk, for those that don’t already know, is a term referring to a sub-genre of science fiction/fantasy that is set during the time when steam power is widely used, technology is more thermo-mechanical and clothing style often has elements from the Victorian era. Denise and Dustin were both dressed to the nines and our good friend, Eric, performed the ceremony amongst the pine trees and mountain views. After a delicious dinner prepared by the Pinegri-La folks, we celebrated and danced the night away under the stars. We wish Denise and Dustin a rich and happy life together! We love you!
