We have been so lucky to find and connect with so many fun couples. Shelley and Jason are no exception.
Shelley found us when she was in the Bay Area visiting from Chicago. We met with her and her mom one afternoon at the studio and we laughed the entire time. Isn’t it great when you connect with someone so easily. When they left our meeting, we were both hoping that we would be the ones photographing their wedding.
Shelley and Jason were married at St. Patrick’s Parish in Larkspur on a hot summer afternoon. Soon after the ceremony, they climbed into a ‘Cherry Mustang’ and off we went to the Marin Headlands for an amazing photo session. We began at the pedestrian tunnel where it was very moody with the fog rolling in and the wind whipping through the passageway. Then we drove down the coastal one-way road to a nearby military bunker, where we photographed them at ‘make-out point’. While we were there a random couple stopped and asked if they could photograph them, the scene was very funny.
We arrived at the reception site (Ondine in Sausalito) and quickly photographed Shelley and Jason in the middle of Bridgeway and along the waterfront. The light was beautiful and they were having a lot of fun. The night continued at Ondine with their friends and family celebrating the entire night.
Congratulations to Shelley and Jason! We wish you both a life of laughter together!
