We are very happy to show you our most recent ‘Day After’ shoot with Vanessa and Bill.
After discussing with them their wants and desires for their portrait session, we decided to shoot at a few locations that embraced San Francisco.
We began our journey along The Embarcadero on Pier 30. This is where they held the X-Games V and VI in San Francisco back in 1999 and 2000. There are sweeping views of the city, the bay and the Bay Bridge. We loved the feeling of the space and emptiness of this location and felt like it would be a great ice-breaker. After Pier 30, we walked along Rincon Park to ‘Cupids Span’ which is an obvious representation of their love for each other and of the great city of San Francisco. We had a great time photographing them here… It felt like they were on stage for all of the cars driving by along the waterfront. So many horns, beeps, hollering and yelling to congratulate them. We continued along The Embarcadero shooting wherever we were inspired. We ended our evening at Pier 7 just as the light was fading. It was absolutely amazing timing. The full moon appeared over the horizon and the lights flickered on as they began their stroll down the pier. It was a beautiful gift and we couldn’t have been happier. Congratulations again to Vanessa and Bill. We had a great time with you both. Thank you!
