After meeting Emily and Stephen at the race track, we knew that their wedding the following day was going to be eventful.
We met Emily and Stephen at Hotel Vitale in San Francisco and immediately scouted their first look location just across the street in front of Boulevard restaurant.
Emily was absolutely stunning and Stephen greeted her with overjoyed enthusiasm. Afterward, we took them for a walk down The Embarcadero, where we made a few stops at Pier 14 and even arranged to get inside of a MUNI train! Emily and Stephen, who live Seattle, wanted to capture some of the essence of San Francisco in their photographs.
We walked back to the Hotel Vitale for their ceremony, which was located on a series of small decks on north side of the hotel. The views were breathtaking and everyone was in full celebration mode. They continued their festivities on the rooftop deck with great food and drink. The flowers, decor and cake were all beautifully done and tastefully within the clean, modern theme of the venue.
We had talked with Emily and Stephen earlier in the day about trying to capture a photograph of all of the guests that were in attendance and we decided to take everyone for a walk down to Cupid’s Span (the Bow and Arrow on The Embarcadero). From here, we continued to photograph Emily and Stephen alone around the Bow and Arrow and eventually drove them to Gold Alley, where we ended our night together with some intimate portraits.
We had a great weekend with Emily, Stephen and all of their friends and family. We couldn’t have asked for better weather and a better group of people to be with for the two days. We wish Emily and Stephen a long, happy life together!
