Elizabeth and Shaik planned a beautiful rustic wedding at the Atwood Ranch in Glen Ellen.
Shaik’s family and friends traveled all the way from Malaysia, while most of Elizabeth’s family arrived from Michigan.
We absolutely love photographing at the Atwood Ranch. The rustic details shine through on this stunning property and this wedding was no exception. From the mason jars served at the lemonade stand to the muted colored votive candles placed around old milk jugs to the canning jar vases filled with country white flowers, everything was thoughtfully decorated. During the reception, they had two long wood tables placed next to each other for ‘family style’ eating with delicious cherry pie shipped in from Michigan as their desert. This was a truly rustic wedding.
Elizabeth and Shaik were adorable throughout the day. I absolutely loved Shaik’s ‘buttoniere’ (made entirely of buttons) and purple striped socks and Elizabeth was beautiful in her Carolina Herrera gown and purple shoes! They were great sports with everything that we threw at them… We were even able to wrangle up a few cruiser bikes for them to pose with at dusk. We had such a great time photographing the entire event.
This wedding also offered me the opportunity to photograph with Laura and Jason. We teamed up together to make sure that every detail was covered.
