In late September, Rick and Matt traveled to Silicon Valley to photograph a few high end corporate dining facilities for the client Guckenheimer. We spent several days setting up scenes and photographing the environment, the people and their delicious food, focusing on their vision of healthy eating, healthy lifestyle and nourishing inspiration. Working directly with the creative director, Tony Wessling from Wessling Creative, and employees of Guckenheimer, we were able to provide them with images for their brochure and new website. Lake Tahoe School

In late October, Rick and Matt spent some time in Tahoe photographing for the new Lake Tahoe School brochure. Working directly with Erica, director of school development, we were able to photograph students in their real academic and creative environments. The goal was to document and capture a day in the life of students at LTS. We had a great time working with Erica, the teachers and students. We just received the final brochure from Aimee at Blase Design and we couldn’t be happier with the results. Many thanks to Erica and Ruth at LTS for their cooperation, coordination and support. Without them, this would have been a difficult shoot. Here are a few images of the final brochure:

Boy Toy Party

Calling all car enthusiasts! Laura, Rick and I were invited to Kelly and Steve’s annual ‘Boy Toy Party’, which is an event for car collectors from all over the region to highlight their prized vehicles. It was overwhelming with 80 amazing cars to browse. I couldn’t even begin to photograph them all, but I did find out to my surprise that Laura is a ‘Vette’ girl! Maybe one for us in the near future?! Take a look at a few of the highlights of our journey… I can’t wait until next year!

Presidio Landmark Building, Part 2

We just finished photographing the beautiful Presidio Landmark Building in San Francisco. This is a portion of a project that we have been working on for several months.

Presidio Landmark Building Project, San Francisco

We just finished the first leg of a several month long project with The Presidio Landmark. They have completely renovated the Old Presidio Hospital and converted it into new family housing that will be available in 2010! They hired Rick Chapman and his team (us) to shoot inspirational images throughout the Presidio for various marketing brochures, their new website and artwork that will be displayed on all of the floors in the building. We spent about a month photographing various landscapes, buildings, native trees and plants, finding inspiration in the most simple things and carrying out the vision of the team. It took a lot of patience, waiting for the right light, fog, time of day, etc, but we had a lot of fun producing this body of work. We are very happy to announce that they just launched the new website and it is exciting to see our photographs and the result of our hard work. We just received word that the NuGEN website just launched!

This was a really fun project for us. The staff was very accommodating and we enjoyed photographing and working with them.

We just completed a lifestyle shoot of NuGEN, a biotech lab in San Carlos. We approached this project just as we would any lifestyle shoot. Working with art director and owner of Metrik, Keara Fallon, we simply “did our thing” and photographed the people, product and culture of NuGEN. We really had a great time doing what we love.

AgCredit – Wessling Creative

We just finished shooting a holiday card for Wessling Creative/AgCredit. We don’t have alot of snow out here, so we had to create a “winter wonderland” in mid-day 70 degree weather. At least it looks like its winter!

Gourmet Gathering

We were privileged to be invited to photograph a gathering of gourmet food celebrities from the bay area. Some of the guests included Bill Niman, Bruce Aidells, Sara Vivenzio, Kimberly Jackson. The event was hosted by Thomas Odermatt from RoliRoti and produced by Tony Wessling of Wessling Creative Group. The event featured Niman Ranch meats, Aidells sausage, cheese from the Cheese School of San Francisco and JAX supplied the wine. What a feast! It was so delicious and the company was its equal. We would do this again in a heartbeat. Here are a few choice images from the day.

We just completed a shoot for JAX Vineyards. This is some of the best wine for the money. We liked it so much, we bought a case!
